Io Villa - Stoupa

our stay at villa io was even better than our previous visit to stoupa. the stunning view from the terraces and the beautifully maintained pool area exceeded our expectations. the quiet location and spacious villa made for a perfect getaway. goody and her family were incredibly welcoming and made our stay even more enjoyable.

The bedrooms at Io in Stoupa were fantastic! The double bed in one room and the two single beds in the other were comfy and perfect for our family. The balcony had breathtaking sea views that made waking up in the morning a real treat. The ceiling fans in both bedrooms kept us cool during the night, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. And let me tell you about the master bedroom! It had the most incredible freestanding bathtub, and the separate shower room and WC were so convenient. the rooms were like a dream come true for us!

Honestly, I can't really think of anything to complain about. But if I had to pick one thing, I guess some people might not like the large freestanding bathtub in the master bedroom.

The large pool area was well-maintained, and it was great having it mostly to ourselves. Our villa had a nice terrace for outdoor dining and plenty of space inside for our group. The supermarket and tavernas were conveniently close by.

The location was perfect for exploring amazing historic sites like Ancient Olympia and Byzantine Mystras. The hiking trails in the area were insane, especially the Virou Gorge! And let me tell you, the scuba diving and snorkeling opportunities were off the hook! Plus, we rented bikes and went on rad excursions to nearby places. So much fun!

The only bummer was that the villa didn't have a party zone for us young and wild teenagers. It would have been next-level if there was a cool hangout spot or a mini nightclub on-site.
